Install/Uninstall a figure file from a ZIP into Poser.

ZipInstaller unzip archives files from the Zip archive to your hard drive.

Important ZipInstaller needs the P3dO ZipExplorer plugin in order to run.

ZipInstaller is a classic unzipper. Unzipping takes 3 steps:

#1 Click "Unzip to" from Files or Grid popup menu.

#2 Select Output runtime from list.


#3 Click the Extract button.


ZipInstaller will unzip the selected content to your hard disk under the location specified by the "Extract to" field.

"Exists" column is a helper that tells if a collision (file already exists) will occur on the destination location.
"Scene" column is a helper that tells that the file has been identified as belonging to the Poser Scene.

Double-clicking a picture or ReadMe text file opens the dedicated viewer in P3dO.

At anytime you may click the same Zip again. Select the files you wish to uninstall.
Clicking the "Uninstall" button will remove the files from disk, including empty directories.

tip You need not have installed that Zip with ZipInstaller before.

ZipInstaller has the ability to read Poser files and check if the Zip content matches the embedded Poser file.
ZipInstaller checks for missing files and invalid paths, it also gives you the ability to change the destination path (with the Rename button as said above).
When unzipping Poser paths, are then automatically updated by ZipInstaller, the Zip itself remain as-is.

• "Scene" column outlines all the members of a given Poser scene inside the zip.
• "Exists" column shows already existing files in destination folder.

ZipInstaller will add 1 menu item in your P3dO pro application.

Unzip to Open ZipInstaller dialog.

ZipInstaller toolbar:

Extract Actual unziping, you may then elect to extract all file or only selected files.
Uninstall ZipInstaller will check the disk for a previous unzipping of this zip content and if any found will delete those files from disk.
ZipInstaller uses the displayed path (if renamed the renamed path) and the current "Extract to" folder to perform the check.
Rename Gives ability to change a file name and destination path. The renaming occurs while unzipping, the zip archive remain as-is.
